Restaurant Philosophy:
Talents is the only student-operated restaurant in Eastern Europe, and is part of Bulgaria's premier culinary institute the HRC Culinary Academy.
HRC Culinary Academy was founded in 2008 and hosts more than 150 full time culinary students from over 20 countries. The Academy's innovative curriculum is fully taught in English by acclaimed international and local chef instructors.
Students at Talents Restaurant work at every station of the kitchen as part of their rigorous 2-year educational program. They are overseen by the executive chef Milen Zlatev and the chef instructor Hugues Boutin.

What are you most proud of in your restaurant?
If we need to gather the essence of Talents in 3 points, they will be quality, high standards and conceptual menu. In Talents we are committed to sourcing seasonal, high quality ingredients from the best suppliers throughout Bulgaria and Europe. Homemade produce is at the heartbeat of the restaurant, be it fresh pasta, breads and ice cream, just to name a few.

What makes you stand out from others?
Restaurant Talents is different than the others because it is run entirely by the students of HRC Culinary Academy. Every six months (each semester) the restaurant changes its team with a new group of talented students who bring in their unique personality and flair for good food. The young chefs working at Talents had successfully passed the first year of their studies and they already have experience from prestigious European restaurants, even Michelin star restaurants and with each new group a unique new menu comes to life. To complete the picture and make sure that Talents lives up to its high standards there are world class chefs supervising and leading the young talents. Head Chef:Chef Milen Zlatev

Chef profile:
Chef Zlatev is one of the talented graduates of HRC Culinary Academy. He has joined the Academy at 2009 after several years of culinary experience at different restaurants and hotels in Bulgaria.
An interesting highlight of his career is his experience as a private chef of the Algerian ambassador and his family in their residence in Bulgaria.
Besides the various upscale restaurants and hotels, he has worked at in Bulgaria, he also has rich international background, working at a 5-star hotel in Doha, Qatar part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Hotel Villa Ruimzicht – Netherlands. Later on he worked as a chef-de-partie at the Clos Maggiore Restaurant, which has an outstanding contemporary French-influenced cuisine and is a winner of the "London's most romantic restaurant" prize.
The French cuisine is one of his favourite and not surprisingly it will influence the new menu at the Academy`s restaurant - Talents, where he trains the third semester students.
