New Gastro Wine Bar Opening at Quartal Food Park

Following months with nothing new on the culinary scene, Quartal food park is opening next weekend 10-12 July 2020 on Cherni Vrah Blvd. in Sofia. A permanent outdoor food park with 14 food trucks, Quartal promises to offer something for every taste and at the very least a new experience.

If the culinary wasteland of the past few months has left you desperate to escape your kitchen, then why not visit Mastercard® TasteBox by Andrè & DiVino, where you can delight in innovative gourmet hors d’oeuvres from top chef Andre Tokev and quality Bulgarian wines presented by DiVino magazine. Andre Tokev will be showcasing the culinary potential of various local and traditional products and giving them his signature makeover.

Mastercard® TasteBox will be a combination of a permanent gastro-wine bar and an innovative platform for tastings and guest appearances featuring the latest from the culinary world.

DiVino have put together a selection of 30 quality Bulgarian wines tailored for the season. With a focus on local grape varieties, DiVino aim to show the prowess of Bulgarian winemakers.

You’ll be able to try fresh and elegant white wines from Misket, Tamyanka, Dimyat and even orange wine from Ceracuda. There will also be rose and light red wines from local Mavrud, Melnik, Rubin, Gamza and Pamid varieties. If you prefer to stick to the classic international varieties then there will be an assortment of those as well. Wine is sold by the glass or bottle.

Mastercard® are giving away prizes for anyone paying with their card throughout the 3 day event at Quartal. Just show your receipt for any purchase over 5 leva at the bar to have a chance of a winning a prize on the spot.
