Sofia Restaurant Week Spring 2019

Sofia Restaurant Week is back for the Spring with more new restaurants and a tempting mix of flavours and locations.

There’s just one week left to the start of Sofia Restaurant Week Spring 2019, running from Tuesday 7th to Sunday 12th May.

With 24 top restaurants offering a total of 48 set menus there’s something for every taste. And with many restaurants participating for the first time we have an amazing selection of locations.

The 3-course menus cost 30lv and are available at lunch and dinner, from Tuesday 7th to Sunday 12th May and include food but not drinks and tips. You need to book in advance as places sell out fast.

Trendy new restaurants include Garlic, Urban Kitchen, Noah +359, In Focus and The Clock.

Our classic offerings include the elegant House with the Clock on Moskovska Street, Club Pouchkine, La Casa, The Restaurant and the top-scoring teaching restaurant Talents.

Asian cuisine is well represented with Raji Bali offering Indonesian cuisine, Hamachi-Ni, which has become our go-to sushi restaurant, and Kohinoor Indian restaurant with a new location.

If you’re after a romantic view then we have three great restaurants to offer, all with outstanding views (especially at sunset!). 360 Sky & Restaurant takes the place of the former Tavan, with an open terrace and 360 degree views over the city, while Corso and Arbat both sit right opposite the beautiful Russian church and have fantastic views of the historic city centre. Il Siciliano on the Ariana Lake allows you to enjoy the surroundings of the Borissova Gradina park.

If you’re into experimental cuisine then try Bistrello with Chef Vladimir Todorov or the slow-food restaurant Bagri.

For those who are looking for a trendy bar and diner experience check out the new restaurant-bar KOTO and Floret in the newly opened Intercontinental Hotel or Vino & Tapas.

With 10 entirely new participants and 14 repeated from previous editions the organisers continue in their mission to introduce food-lovers from Sofia and further afield to the great restaurants that the city has to offer.
