ORMANO wines – a perfect match for your meal


Delicious food  becomes a special occasion when served with good wine.

That’s why during Sofia Restaurant Week each of the 29 restaurants will be offering you the exclusive opportunity to pair your menu with ORMANA white, rose or red wine.

What is ORMANO? In the distant past the most fertile lands along the river Struma were known as ORMANO – this is the home of ORMANO wines.

ORMANO White

Variety: Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc
Vintage: 2017
Bottle 0.750, 0.375 and by glass

Straw colour with green notes, medium intensity. Juicy, round body with a pronounced mineral freshness.
(Fermentation takes place with naturally occurring wild yeast, slowly, taking around 2 months at medium low temperature)

ORMANO Rose

Variety: Early Melnik and Broadleafed Melnik
Vintage: 2017
Bottle 0.750, 0.375 and by glass

Medium intensity salmon colour. Delicate fruit bouquet of strawberry and cherry. Sweet aftertaste. Recommended serving temperature 10-12 ˚C.

ORMANO Cabernet Sauvignon

Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage: 2016
Bottle 0.750 and by glass
Medium bodied, tannins have a grainy structure. Can be consumed now or be left to improve for the next two years.
(Fermentation of whole, uncrushed grapes taking around 4 weeks. Spends 8-10 months in the barrel.)
