Sofia Restaurant is back from 16-22 September 2018

Sofia Restaurant Week is back for the Autumn with more restaurants and a tempting mix of flavours and locations.
There’s just one week left to the start of Sofia Restaurant Week Autumn 2018, running from Sunday 16th to Saturday 22nd September.
With 29 top restaurants offering a total of 58 set menus there’s something for every taste. And with nearly half the restaurants participating for the first time we have an amazing selection of locations.
The 3-course menus cost 29lv and are available at lunch and dinner, from Sunday 16th to Saturday 22nd September and include food but not drinks and tips. You need to book in advance as places sell out fast.
Asian cuisine is well represented this time: the new Raji Bali offers Indonesian cuisine, Royal Thai serving Thai cuisine, Hamachi-Ni, which has become our go-to sushi restaurant, Kohinoor Indian restaurant which won the audience’s highest rating in the last edition of SRW and Konak, a traditional Turkish restaurant.
If you’re after a romantic view then we have three great restaurants to offer, all with outstanding views (especially at sunset!). The View is on the 24th floor of the Millenium Centre office building in the city centre, 360 Sky & Restaurant takes the place of the former Tavan, with an open terrace and 360 degree views over the city, while La Cattedrale sits right next to Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and shows the best of that historical location.
Our classic offerings include new-to-SRW House with the Clock on Moskovska Street, Club Pouchkine, Grozd, Tempero and the top-scoring teaching restaurant Talents.
If you’re into experimental cuisine then try Iv by chef Evropeisky, Bistrello with Chef Vladimir Todorov, Happy Pig with Chef Jun Yoshida and Cactus by celebrity Chef Ivan Manchev.
For those who are looking for a trendy bar and diner experience check out the new restaurant-bar KOTO and Floret in the newly opened Intercontinental Hotel, La Cattedrale, Happy Pig, Vino & Tapas, Graphite or Nota Bene.
Brick Cafe in Iztok district offers a new concept for Sofia Restaurant Week: a mix of flavours from around the world, including Thai and Mexican, and a friendly, international atmosphere with many foreign guests.
With 13 entirely new participants and 16 repeated from previous editions the organisers continue in their mission to introduce food-lovers from Sofia and further afield to the great restaurants that the city has to offer.
There’s still time to book your place and discover the tastes of Sofia, though the most popular restaurants are already fully booked for the whole week. Check out the exciting menus and try something new !
